The Kwara State Fire Service swiftly responded to a fire outbreak at Ile-Lodo Compound, Ikun Road, Etan Town, Ekiti Local Government Area where a shop in front of a 13-room residential building was engulfed in flames, but firefighters acted decisively, preventing the fire from spreading. Meanwhile, the Preliminary investigation linked the incident to a power surge as the Director of the Fire Service, Prince Falade John, sympathized with the affected shop owner and urged residents to prioritize fire safety measures.
