The Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) is set to host the 65th Annual General Meeting/Conference (AGM/Conference) of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACIMA) from June 17th to 19th, 2025, in Ilorin. The event will feature the inauguration of Engr. Jani Ibrahim, as the incoming NACIMA President, marking the first time a Kwaran will hold this position since 1960. High-profile attendees, including the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other dignitaries, are expected, with a lineup of events including a golf tournament, cultural night, and an investiture dinner.
Engr. Abu Salami, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, highlighted extensive preparations, including venue arrangements, logistics, security, and publicity, to ensure a successful event. The conference aims to celebrate Kwara’s business achievements and foster economic growth. The transition of leadership will be marked by the incumbent NACIMA President handing over to Engr. Ibrahim, supported by a peaceful succession process outlined in NACIMA’s constitution.
