Kwara Celebrates2025 World Cultural Diversity Day with Colorful Statewide Event
The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Culture and Tourism, in partnership with the Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture, hosted a vibrant celebration for the 2025 World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Held under the theme “Embrace the Journey, Shape Our Future,” the event brought together cultural enthusiasts, government officials, and creatives to showcase the state’s rich heritage through traditional dance, local cuisine, and cultural exhibitions as awards were presented for best cultural dress, dance, and cuisine, recognizing efforts to preserve Kwara’s identity as the event emphasized the importance of cultural dialogue in fostering unity, peace, and sustainable development.
