Katsina Begins Land Compensation for New Federal Agricultural College

May 13, 2025

The Katsina State Government has disbursed over N274 million in compensation to 241 landowners in Gidan Na-Banje, Kafur Local Government Area, for the acquisition of 100 hectares of land to establish a Federal College of Agriculture. The initiative, part of Governor Dikko Radda’s commitment to fair compensation, was supported by Presidential Adviser Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, who facilitated the project’s siting as the college aims to become a hub for agricultural innovation, training, and research, aligning with the state’s broader agricultural development agenda.
