Governor Fintiri Slams Federal Government’s Economic Policies, Calls for Reconsideration

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has strongly criticized the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, claiming they have exacerbated the hardships faced by Nigerians.
Speaking at the National Reconciliation Committee meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Fintiri urged the Federal Government to reconsider its policies to alleviate citizens’ suffering, emphasizing the need for governance rooted in trust and responsibility.
The meeting, attended by PDP governors and leaders from the Northeast, focused on party unity and addressing internal divisions that contributed to setbacks in the last general election. Fintiri highlighted the PDP’s strong performance in the region while reaffirming the commitment of North-East governors to strengthening the party, as the reconciliation committee led by Olagunsoye Oyinlola pledged to rebuild trust and address weaknesses within the party.
