Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri has denied any romantic relationship with former Big Brother Naija Season 5 housemate Nengi Rebecca Hampson, following reports that she welcomed a child with him. The governor’s spokesperson, Dr. Kola Oredipe, dismissed the claims as baseless fabrications aimed at tarnishing Diri’s reputation, emphasizing that Nengi has no personal ties to the governor. Oredipe condemned the spread of misinformation, labeling it a distraction, especially as the government was inaugurating a new road in Yenagoa while such rumors circulated on social media.
