Governor AbdulRazaq Inaugurates Osi Campus of Kwara State University

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has inaugurated the Osi Campus of the Kwara State University (KWASU), fulfilling his administration’s commitment to completing abandoned projects and promoting balanced development across the state.
Speaking at the event, Governor Abdulrazaq described the completion of the Osi and Ilesha Baruba campuses as a powerful statement against project abandonment, emphasizing the importance of inclusive growth and regional development.
He highlighted the significance of the project, recalling how he also completed the Kwara Polytechnic main auditorium, which had been abandoned for over two decades before his intervention. The Governor emphasized that the Osi Campus was more than a physical structure but a symbol of hope and progress for future generations.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Jimoh praised the Governor’s dedication to education, highlighting the introduction of new programs such as Geography and Remote Sensing, Urban and Regional Planning, and Estate Management under the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at the Osi Campus.
