Gombe Governor Mourns Victims of Billiri Easter Tragedy
Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has expressed deep sorrow over a tragic incident in Billiri Local Government Area, where five people were killed and several others injured during an Easter procession. The accident occurred when a trailer, suffering brake failure, veered into a crowd of Christian worshippers. Governor Yahaya further offered his condolences to the victims’ families as he ordered an investigation into the cause of the accident while also assuring medical care for the injured.
