First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Urges Women, Youth to Embrace Agriculture
The Nigerian first lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has called on women and youth to actively participate in agriculture to tackle food insecurity in Nigeria, highlighting their critical role in the sector. Represented by the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, she appealed the launch of the expanded Renewed Hope Initiative Women and Youth Agricultural Support Program in Abeokuta which includes the Young Farmers Initiative, Women in Agriculture, and Every Home a Garden which aims to boost food production, create jobs, and reduce poverty.
