First Lady Distributes 10,000 Professional Kits to Southeast Midwives
First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has distributed 10,000 professional kits, including scrubs and crocs, to midwives and nurses across Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo under the Renewed Hope Initiative. The initiative, which concluded its nationwide distribution of 60,000 kits in Enugu, aims to reduce infant and maternal mortality by equipping healthcare workers.
Additionally, 1,500 Enugu petty traders received N100 million from Enugu’s First Lady, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, with further grants of N50 million each from the Renewed Hope Initiative. Senator Tinubu also launched the Free to Shine campaign and Triple Elimination Initiative to combat HIV/AIDS, syphilis, and hepatitis, enhancing healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
