Federal Government to project MSMEs on continental stage, says Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has announced that the Nigerian government is building digital infrastructure to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) ahead of the upcoming 4th African Union Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises forum in Abuja. He highlighted various initiatives like the i-DICE programme and the 3 Million Tech Talent Program while emphasizing Nigeria’s commitment to digital trade. Furthermore, he emphasized that efforts are underway to harmonize trade laws and boost youth digital skills to make Nigeria a leader in Africa’s digital economy, as the forum aims to enhance cross-border collaboration and empower MSMEs continent-wide.
