Federal Government Condemns Deadly Terror Attack in South Kashmir

The Federal Government has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in South Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, which left 26 people dead, mostly tourists, and several others injured. In a statement released on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa, the government described the act as “tragic” and “heinous,” extending heartfelt condolences to the government and people of India. Recalling Nigeria’s own battles with terrorism, the FG stressed the need for greater international cooperation in tackling extremism. It called for united global action to combat the menace and prevent future attacks, reaffirming its solidarity with India in the pursuit of peace, stability, and justice.
