Federal Government Advocates Accurate Data for Economic and Social Development
The Nigerian Government through the office of the secretary to the Federal Government has emphasized the importance of accurate data for economic and social development, particularly in budgeting for grassroots impact.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ sensitization meeting in Enugu on the Local Local Government Proof of Address (POA)System, Mr. George Akume noted that the initiative would enhance planning by providing reliable population data while the Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah stressed its potential to improve security and support development projects in the Southeast.
