Emir of Ilorin Pledges Support for EFCC’s Anti-Corruption Drive
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has pledged full support for the EFCC’s fight against corruption during a courtesy visit by the Commission’s Ilorin Zonal Director, Daniel Isei, and his team. The Emir praised the agency’s efforts and assured them of the Palace’s backing, saying, you have our support, our prayers, and our doors are always open. In response, Isei acknowledged the vital role of traditional leaders in promoting accountability and public trust. He also sought the Emir’s assistance in addressing cybercrime and illegal mining in Kwara State, while congratulating him on his recent 85th birthday.
