Ebonyi Governor Suspends Three Commissioners Over Absenteeism
Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has suspended three commissioners for one month due to absenteeism from the March 17 Executive Council meeting. The affected officials, Solomon Azi (Grants and Donor Agencies), Victor Chukwu (Environment), and Ikeuwa Omebe (Rural Development), were sanctioned for being absent without permission. Furthermore, the governor also warned public servants against negligence and urged contractors to adhere strictly to project timelines.
