Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to N865 per Litre
Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of petrol to N865 per litre, down from N880, effective Thursday morning. The drop comes after expectations from marketers following comments by Chinedu Ukadike, National Publicity Secretary of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, who had predicted a price cut. This move aligns with the Federal Executive Council’s continued push for the full implementation of the crude-for-naira agreement, aimed at boosting local refining and reducing the country’s dependence on foreign exchange for petroleum imports.
