Chiamaka Nnadozie Nominated for 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year award.
The Paris FC shot-stopper is among five standout nominees vying for the top honor. Nnadozie, who has been a key figure for both her club and the Nigerian national team, will compete against notable players including Morocco’s Sanna Msoudy, Zambia’s Barbara Banda, and the Malawian duo of Tabitha and Themba Chawinga.
In addition to her nomination for the Women’s Player of the Year, Nnadozie is also in the running for the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award.
The awards ceremony is set to take place on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco. The event will bring together Africa’s best players and officials to celebrate the achievements of women’s football on the continent.
