CHAN 2024 Qualifier: Ghana’s Coach Dramani Declares Readiness for Nigeria Clash
Ghana’s Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has expressed confidence in his team’s preparation for the highly anticipated African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifier against Nigeria.
The first leg of the fierce rivalry is scheduled to take place this Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the second leg set for the following week at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.
Acknowledging the magnitude of the encounter, Dramani emphasized the need to face strong opponents on the path to success.
“In football, when you want to get to the top, you should be ready to meet the top liners. For me, it was not surprising that we were meeting Nigeria,” Dramani told Ghana Guardian.
The clash reignites a familiar rivalry, as Ghana previously denied Nigeria a spot in the last CHAN edition. The Black Galaxies will aim to replicate their success, while Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team will seek redemption and a place in the 2024 tournament.
With both nations boasting rich football traditions and fierce competition, the qualifiers are expected to draw significant attention from fans and analysts alike.
