CDS Urges Prayers for Peace, Unity During Ramada

March 7, 2025

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has called on Muslim faithful to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace, unity, and an end to terrorism and banditry in Nigeria. Speaking during an Iftar with Muslim personnel of the Armed Forces in Abuja, he stressed the importance of collective prayers and national unity in tackling security challenges. Musa urged Nigerians to remain united and work together for a prosperous nation while seeking divine intervention against those responsible for insecurity. The Chief Imam of the Defence Headquarters, Navy Capt. Gidado Migdad, also emphasized Ramadan as a time for spiritual and moral renewal, encouraging acts of kindness and support for the less privileged.
