CBN Pushes for Greater Financial Inclusion for Women and Underserved Groups

Mrs. Emem Usoro, Deputy Governor of the Corporate Services department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, emphasized the need for greater financial inclusion of women and other underserved groups during her presentation at Citibank’s inaugural Women in Central Banking event in London, marking International Women’s Day. She reaffirmed the CBN’s commitment to data-driven policies that enhance access to finance, drive investment, and foster economic growth, particularly under Governor Olayemi Cardoso’s leadership.
