Bafarawa Expresses Concern Over Nigerian Politics, Urges Focus on the Masses

Former Sokoto State Governor, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, has expressed concerns over the state of Nigerian politics, stating that politicians today are more focused on personal gain than serving the public. Bafarawa emphasized that politics should be about improving the lives of the people, particularly in areas like education, healthcare, and water. Bafarawa also raised alarm over the high illiteracy rate among youths in Northern Nigeria, noting that about 70% lack education, which he believes threatens the region’s future. He concluded that only divine intervention could address the country’s ongoing challenges.
