Aruna Quadri Reclaims Top Spot as Africa’s Best Table Tennis Player
Nigeria’s table tennis star, Aruna Quadri, has reclaimed his position as Africa’s highest-ranked player in the latest International Table Tennis Federation rankings, surpassing Egypt’s Omar Assar. After losing the top African spot earlier this year, Quadri’s strong performance at the World Table Tennis Contender tournament propelled him to 18th in the world, while Assar dropped to 19th as he looks forward to further improving his ranking at the upcoming World Table Tennis Contender in Chennai, India.
