APGA Responds to Atiku’s Allegation, Calls for Concrete Evidence

January 30, 2025

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has called on former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to provide evidence supporting his claim that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is bribing opposition parties with N50 million. Atiku made the allegation during a national conference in Abuja, warning that such practices could jeopardize Nigeria’s democracy.

In response, APGA’s Publicity Secretary, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, condemned the claim as baseless and accused Atiku of spreading rumors that could inflame political tensions. APGA urged Atiku to provide concrete evidence and specific details about which opposition parties have received the alleged bribes, challenging him to back up his accusations or cease making unsubstantiated claims.
