AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Obasogie Thrilled With Super Eagles Invitation

Former Bendel Insurance goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has expressed his excitement following his recall to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Obasogie is among the 23 players selected by caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen for the crucial qualifiers against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic and Amavubi of Rwanda.

Obasogie, a former Bendel Insurance goalkeeper, is delighted to be back with the national team after a stellar season in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), where he won the Golden Glove award for keeping 18 clean sheets.
