The Nationwide League One (NLO) has confirmed that 44 players have been released ahead of the 2025 season after medical examinations revealed serious health issues. The league’s Medical Consultant, Dr. Ayo, disclosed that the affected players, drawn from 31 clubs, with Offa FC recording the highest number at six, were diagnosed with conditions including systemic hypertension, rendering them unfit for competitive action.
