The Federal Government has launched the enhanced National Agricultural Growth Scheme (NAGS) to support 250,000 farmers, aiming to boost food security and economic stability. Finance Minister Wale Edun highlighted key economic improvements, including GDP growth, rising foreign reserves, and a stabilized exchange rate as the initiative, backed by the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), seeks to address pricing, harvest losses, and distribution challenges while ensuring long-term food security and economic growth.
